A good thesis topic is narrow, has data you can actually collect, and connects to the career you want.
Four steps to a strong topic
- Start with a sector you care about: banking, insurance, tourism, retail.
- Read five recent Nepali studies in that sector and note the gaps.
- Check that you can get the data: annual reports, NEPSE figures or your own survey.
- Discuss two or three options with your supervisor before writing the proposal.
MBS students at MNC meet their supervisors every two weeks, which keeps the thesis on track and avoids last-minute stress.
